Manuscript letter to William Lee, later Lt Col, at Hartwell near Aylesbury, possibly from Rev Drury at Harrow, 25 Jun 1779. Letter is presumably from his school teacher Rev Drury, he corrects the mistakes made in the Latin of William's previous letters and and informs him that smallpox in Harrow means he cannot return there for a couple of weeks. From a collection of 112 letters and envelopes addressed to Lt Col William Lee, 5th Baronet, 16th (or The Queen’s) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons, 1749-1810. Also includes photocopies of other letters from the same correspondence.
