Description
Sweetheart brooch, British Red Cross Society and Order of St John of Jerusalem, worn by Maj Corrie Hudson, Indian Medical Service, 1914 (c). White metal and enamel. A shield. A chief gules; party per pale; dexter, white a cross gules; sinister sable the badge of the Order of St John of Jerusalem argent. Reverse bears brooch fitting. Associated with the Balkan Wars (1912-1913).
