Letter from Lt Col Standish O’Grady to his father the 1st Viscount Guillamore, dated Steven’s Hotel, Sunday 10th Jan 1815. This letter is largely concerned with O’Grady’s return to England from the campaign in France, listing the friends and acquaintances he has seen. Typed transcript in separate folder. From a collection of 45 letters associated with Lt Col Standish O’Grady, later 2nd Viscount Guillamore 1813-1830. These letters include those written whilst serving as a Lieutenant with the 7th Light Dragoons in the Peninsular War and at Waterloo, 1815-1830. With manuscript and typescript transcripts. Associated with the Peninsular War (1808-1814) and Napoleonic Wars (1803-1815).
