5th Royal Veteran Battalion button, 1804-1820
Gilt, one-piece, slightly convex, open back. A garter strap inscribed ROYAL • VETERANS topped by a crown in the centre of the strap the Roman numeral V, around the strap a laurel wreath divided at the top by the crown.  Back mark reads I NUTTING & SON LONDON.
