Letter from Douglas McKie to his mother, discussing his expected embarkation for France, December 1916. From a blue leather bound scrapbook containing letters and photographs relating to the life of 2/Lt Douglas Hamlin McKie, Artists' Rifles and Northumberland Fusiliers who was killed at the Battle of Arras, 1917. Compiled by his sister Helen McKie. Associated with World War One (1914-1918).
