Photograph showing a barren flat plain over which three mounted soldiers, one of whom carries a flagpole, ride towards a mule-drawn wooden wagon, South Africa, June 1900. Relating to the flag shown, used to make a truce with Boer forces by General Buller. From 31 photographs mostly relating to the Boer War, compiled by Capt W E L Stewart, 1900.
