Photograph: Hon Dormer ADC to Lord Clyde, possibly from the 13th (1st Somersetshire) Regiment of Foot (Prince Albert’s Light Infantry). Portrait of a man, posing and wearing a sword in his belt. From a photograph album of 39 photographs compiled by Edward Impey in Madras (Bt Capt 31st Bengal Native Infantry struck off as a deserter 1850). Photographed by Felice Beato. Associated with the British Army, Indian Mutiny (1857-1859).
