A handwritten letter by Charlotte Maxwell to Nina Maxwell. The top of the letter is stamped with Longford Castle Salisbury, that was being used as a hospital during the war. Charlotte Maxwell tells Nina Maxwell that she has received 'Frankies' letters from the 29th and the 30th September. Charlotte goes into great detail describing the letters that she has recieved from Francis Maxwell. Charlotte also copies out extracts from Francis Maxwell's letters to her so that Nina can read what his life on the Western Front is like.
