Manuscript letter from Trp Sgt Maj (later RSM and Riding Master) George Cruse, 1st (or Royal) Dragoons, to his wife, from Camp Adrianople Road, 26 Aug 1854. Largely concerned with letters from home, the health of troops, and departure of the artillery for the front. Associated with the Crimean War (1854-1856).
