Description
Pen and ink drawing by Lt Herbert Delmé Radcliffe, 23rd Regiment of Foot (Royal Welch Fusiliers). Soldiers losing balance whilst a wooden hut that they are attempting to carry splits down the middle, an officer stands pointing on the right. From album of pencil, pen and ink, and watercolour drawings, 1855-1858. Associated with the Crimean War (1854-1856).
