Gilt, rimless. A scalloped edge, in the centre a French eagle with wings out stretched with its head facing right standing on a plinth inscribed WATERLOO underneath the plinth in small letters RNBD.  Reverse marked DOUGHTY & CO ST MARTINS LANE above the word MARTINS is the number 103 (the O in CO is smaller, raised with a line underneath).
