Letter from 23207 L/Cpl Frank Bentley, 2nd Bn Grenadier Guards, to his brother Cpl Arthur Bentley, Royal Army Medical Corps; written from Chelsea Barracks, postmarked 28 Dec 1915; Frank says he has passed his medical and has been named for a draft for France; Frank Bentley was killed in action at Gauche Wood, near Gouzeaucourt, 1 Dec 1917; his name appears on the Cambrai Memorial, Louveral.
