Description
Typescript letter from the War Office informing Mr S R Hall that his son Lt Timothy Romilly Hall is now in Britain, 6 Jun 1945. From a collection of papers relating to the service of Lt (later Capt) Timothy Romilly Hall, 1st Parachute Sqn, Royal Engineers. Hall was wounded and captured at Arnhem in 1944. Associated with Operation Market Garden, World War Two, North West Europe (1944-1945) and World War Two, POWs Germany (1939-1945).
