Two manuscript plans showing the Zariba where Newman was killed, and the position of his grave, together with official correspondence and reports on the attack, dated 1885. Included is a letter to Newman from Horse Guards of 5 Mar 1887, informing him of his rate of retired pay, 1885-1887.
