Letter, 1809 (c)-1814 (c).
Sent to Lt Gen Colin Campbell when Lt Governor of Gibraltar, from Mr G Rutherford, 41 Norfolk Street, The Strand, London.
Letter asks if Campbell could have some person deal with the affairs of his brother, the late Col Rutherford as he had died of a ‘mortification of the bowels’. He had a 10 year old son at school and his brother also asks whether there was a will among his papers.
From a collection of papers and other items associated with Lt Gen Colin Campbell, Lt Governor of Gibraltar, 1750-1850 (c).
