Major-Gen Sir W Ponsonby’s Brigade charging. The Greys preserved a beautiful line at speed. After considerable resistance, the Eagles of the 45th and 105th Regts were seized, 1815. Engraving by Samuel Mitan after Capt George Jones, mostly proof before letters, No 18 from the series ‘The Battle of Waterloo with those of Ligny and Quatre Bras... by a near-observer’, published by J Booth and T Egerton, 1817.
