Description
Shoulder belt plate, York (North Riding) Militia, worn by Lt G F Newton, 1815 (c). Silver with a beaded edge. Superimposed upon an engraved eight-pointed rayed star, a Garter in relief. Within the Garter, a gilt metal rose. Above the Garter, a gilt metal monarchial crown.
