Photographic copy of showing six officers of the Grenadier Guards posing around a cannon, with one seated on it. The photograph was taken at Windsor Barracks in March 1864. The officers are named from left to right as: Lt (Hon) Adelbert Wellington Brownlow Cust; Capt William Henry Parnell; Lt (Hon) Norman de L’Aigle Grosvenor; Capt Alexander Louis Ricardo; Lt James St Vincent Saumarez and Capt (Hon) William Sholto Douglas Home. From a photograph album containing 22 copies of images taken by Lt Col Henry William Verschoyle, 3rd Battalion, Grenadier Guards. The original photographs were taken between 1860-1864, and consist mainly of group portraits. Grenadier Guards reference number 99.
