Ms letter written to Andrew Caldwell from Antwerp, October 28 1785. He recounts his travels through Cologne, Bonn and Wevel. He also saw the Garrison review, a 1000 men in the field. In Mastrich The Prince De Hope(?) who Commands invited him to dinner. Plans to see the Dutch fleet which is guarding the Scheldt. He feels that the Emperor of Germany will not bring on the war, but will submit and give up the Scheldt.
