Description
Lettercard written by Hugh Hughes to his parents in London, 26 Oct 1900. Sent from Pretoria, he and other volunteers feel that the government is taking 'unfair advantage' of them and that now the crisis is over they should be allowed to go home. One of twenty four lettercards sent by Hugh Hughes, a voluntary medical orderly in the Imperial Yeomanry to his parents in London,1900 (c). Associated with the Boer War (1899-1902).
