Cap badge, other ranks, 6th Bn, East Surrey Regiment, 1908-21. An eight-pointed rayed and faceted star, the topmost point of which is displaced by a monarchial crown. At the centre a shield bearing the Arms of Guilford (see part 9). Below the star, a frosted scroll bearing the burnished regimental title. The slider fitting upon the reverse has been removed.
