Manuscript document: Report on the road from Guarda to Linhares. Signed by Maj Gen Sir Charles Broke Vere, Assistant Quartermaster General to the 4th Division and later to the Army, dated Guarda 10 May 1810. The document details the route between Guarda and Linhares. From a collection of papers relating to Gen Sir Galbraith Lowry Cole. Associated with the Peninsular War (1808-1814) and the Napoleonic Wars, Waterloo (1815).
