Sealed Pattern Collection; badge on card, Tam O‘Shanter, Working Pattern, 1943. Introduced to economise on brass and other metals in badge production. Contracts ran from February 1942 through to June 1946. They were produced in several colours including silver, brass, chocolate brown, mid brown, dark blue for the Royal Marines, or black for Rifle Regiments.
