War artist's impression of how Sepoy Ali Haider, Shia Bangash of B Coy, 6th Royal Bn (Scinde), 13th Frontier Force Rifles, won the Victoria Cross during the assault crossing of the River Senio near Fusignano on 9 Apr 1945. The black dot marks the position of the enemy machine gun post which was preventing the crossing. From a photograph album of 328 photographs, 1938-1974 (c). The album was originally compiled by Capt Hubert Gervais Lennox Brain, 6th Royal Bn, 13th Frontier Force Rifles, Instructor of the Royal Military College, Sandhurst, 1938. Presented by the Officers of the 13th Frontier Force Rifles, to The Royal Military College, Sandhurst, to give Cadets who wished to join the Indian Army an idea of life in the regiment.
