Photograph: East exterior view of Memorial. Showing the outside of an octagonal, gothic screen designed by Colonel Henry Yule of the Bengal Engineers. The memorial commemorates people who were massacred by the rebel Nana Dhoondoo Panth of Bithoor on 15th Jul 1857. Associated with Indian Mutiny (1857-1859). From an album of 37 photographs taken by a Cawnpore photographer, 1947.
