White metal scabbard of Turkish style with a slit at the top back, with inscribed dedication between the two bands and suspension rings; belonging to a Shamshir sword that was given by Meer Sobdar, Ameer of Sind, to Beloochee Chief Seedee Hosh Mahomed, who was killed in battle near Hyderabad 24 Mar 1843; the was presented to Lieutenant G H Robertson, commander of the Light Company, 25th Regiment Bombay Native Infantry, by the men of the Company after that battle.
