Description
Afghan knife, nd. With sheath. T-section blade, with small amount of chiselled decoration of short curved lines, towards shoulder. Gilt brass decorated ferrule. Decorated cream bone grips. Black horn ‘beaked’ pommel. Belonged to Lt Col George Allen Preston. Associated 40th Pathans and 6th Gurkha Rifles, Tibet (1903-1904) and World War One (1914-1918).
