Description
Afghan knife, nd. With sheath. Wooden sheath covered with black, tooled leather. Decorated brass mouthpiece and chape. Chape has checkered copper band and conical terminal. Belonged to Lt Col George Allen Preston. Associated with 40th Pathans and 6th Gurkha Rifles, Tibet (1903-1904) and World War One (1914-1918).
