Kitbag, owned by Maj A I Fraser DSO, 9th Hodson’s Horse, 1914-1917 (c) Made of heavy khaki green canvas webbing; circular base, with sides made from two pieces of canvas; eyelet holes at the top are bound in brass which is impressed with the address, ‘YORK HOUSE 15 REGENT ST, LONDON.’; attached to one hole is a brass lock that secures the top when threaded through all of the eyelets; the lock is, in turn, secured with a padlock impressed, ‘SECURE 2 LEVER’.
