Description
Sheath, nd. Made in Jodphur, India. Associated with kukri and scabbard. Associated with the Gurka Rifles and the Jodphur State Forces, during World War One. Grip has three moulded bands at the centre and is made of white metal. Method of carriage is through a leather belt loop. Believed to have been made at the instruction of the Maharajah of Jodphur for the Gurkhas of his regiment, World War One, Western Front (1914-1918).
