Unidentified Serbian medal. Maltese cross of gilded metal with red enamel medallion in the centre. On the obverse is the image of a double headed eagle, gilt, with a crown above, on the reverse of the medallion is an inscription in Serbian. Light blue ribbon. From a medal group awarded to John Ager, X-Ray operator attached to Stobart’s Field Hospital, Serbia, 1915. Medals presented to John Ager by the Yugoslav Government for his service in the First World War.
