Manuscript letter, 10 Aug 1918. Sent to Mrs Isabella Spencer at, Stockingford, Nuneaton by Maj C D Ingram. Maj Ingram offers Mrs Spencer his sincerest sympathies on her husband’s death and informs her that he was buried at a place called Cuckoo Farm. From a collection of items relating to Pte John Spencer, Royal Warwickshire Regiment and Machine Gun Corps, and his son Harold Charles Spencer, possibly Lt H C Spencer, Coldstream Guards. Associated with World War One, Western Front and World War Two.
