Facsimile of a telegram from Maj Gen Lord Kitchener, Army Staff, to Queen Victoria, 25 Nov 1899. One of two manuscript texts of telegrams (on Sudan Military Telegraphs forms), describing the defeat by Sir Francis Reginald Wingate of the Khalifa at Debel Karat, 1899, which finally extinguished Mahdisim in the Sudan.
