Manuscript diary, 1 Jun 1911- 14 Jul 1913.
Covering civil service in Burma.
In June 1911 he was posted to Taunggyi and was based there throughout the period covered, the contents being much as for the Burma period of the diary in -1. At the end of 1911 his wife was seriously ill (possibly with Tuberculosis) and in March 1913 he sent her back to Britain. An earthquake in May 1912 is described in some detail and there are no entries for 7 Dec 1912- 6 Jan 1913 inclusive.
