Overalls, 1st Bombay Light Cavalry, worn by Maj Samuel Boileau Goad (1809-1876), 1848 (c). French grey cloth with band of silver oak leaf pattern lace down each leg. On inside at ankle, two blue cloth tabs each bearing two buttonholes for attaching foot straps (now absent). Vertical pocket let into each side seam. Pocket let into right front waist edge. Six brass buttons at wasit edge which is bound with grey silk braid. Fly fastening.
