Frock coat, 6th Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers), worn by Maj Gen N M Smyth, 1910 (c). Blue cloth, collar upright, trimmed with black mohair lace and braid, cuffs, sleeve seams, back and back skirts trimmed in a similar manner, loops and olivettes across front. Lieutenant colonels’ badges on shoulder straps, the stars have been removed.
