Contains a list of NCOs and men in Heath’s company of 46th Infantry Bde, ‘C’ Coy, together with a note of their religion, most were ‘CE’.
Contains interesting topographical details.
Much concerned with the movement of the force up the Nile, although two battles had been won by the time the account closed.
From a collection of a paybook and three notebooks of Sgt Harry Heath, 50th Regiment of Foot and 46th Infantry Brigade, 1880-1885.
Heath served in Egypt and Sudan 1882-1885 and was apparently killed in 1885.
