Waistbelt clasp worn by Capt Henry Thurburn, 42nd Madras Native Infantry, 1850 (c). Henry Thurburn was commissioned in the 42nd Madras Native Infantry, 1843, became a Lieutenant in 1850, a Captain in 1850 and retired in 1861.
