Officer’s service dress peaked forage cap, worn by Dame Helen Gwynne Vaughan, Auxiliary Territorial Service , 1953 (c). Button: within a Garter bearing the Garter motto the Royal Cypher: EIIR surmounted by a monarchial crown superimposed upon the Garter. Cap badge: the Royal Crest embroidered proper on a shaped blue ground.
