Officers’ sword sling, 6th Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers), worn by Maj C F Marriott, 1880 (c). Buff Morocco leather, with gold oak leaf pattern metal thread lace. Gilt metal square single prong buckle with rounded corners, with a light brown leather strap with brass stud fitting attached to buckle at back of sling.
