Three typed copies of "Musical Appreciation through the Gramophone" written by Capt Christopher Hassall. The notes were produced for ASE Wakefield 1943/44, as part of courses for AEC personnel. The notes provide general guidance on how to provide troops with musical appreciation, for example, how to source a gramophone, how to introduce and listen to the music, selection and arrangement of the music.
