Small leatherbound notebook, nd. Inscribed on the inside cover, ‘Quarter Master Fullers Book Memorandums’. Also inscribed on the inside cover is, ‘5th R. V. Battr. disbanded 24th May 1816 at Chelsea by Colonel Christie.’ The financial transactions recorded in the notebook cover the period from 1813 to 1824, and are domestic with many relating to William Fuller’s son. Also included in the notebook are the text of several religious sermons. From a collection of documents relating to William Fuller who, after discharge to pension from the 55th (Westmorland) Regiment of Foot in 1802, on account of his rheumatism, following 18 years’ service, joined the Royal Veterans, in which he became Quartermaster Lieutenant.
