Manuscript letter to Brigadier General George Townshend, London, from Sir Guy Carleton, dated Southampton, 3 January 1761. In the letter Carleton says that he is not aware of the attacks being made on the General in regard to the late campaign in Canada. Associated with the Seven Years War, North America (1756-1763).
