Description
Water hat, 1911. Made from split cane. Conical in shape and formed by a spiralling flexible wooden rod, winding from the crown to the brim, secured and strengthened by flexible strands of cane; with the remains of a split bamboo chin strap. Made from split cane. Collected with other items on the Abor Expedition (1911-1912) by Robert Siggins Kennedy, 11th Rajputs. .
