Black leather scabbard with steel mouthpiece, frog button and a long chape and shoe; these are characteristics of Indian Army swords; belonging to a pattern 1834 Rifle Regiment Officer’s sword given to Claud Vivian Esq, Royal Artillery, from his uncle, Lt Gen Harry H Lister, 72nd Bengal Native Infantry, in 1900.
