Officers’ pouch belt fitting, Royal Cornwall and Devon Miners Artillery Militia, 1855-1873. White metal. Die struck. A monarchial crown having a single arch at the centre and lacking the outer arches upon a frosted cushion (possibly an attempt at reproducing the coronet of HR the Prince of Wales, as it would be seen from the side). At the centre of the base of the crown is a small fixed ring for attaching a chain. Reverse bears two horizontally placed screw and nut fittings (lacking one nut).
