Description
Mess bill made out to Douglas McKie for £1 11 shillings anad 1.5 pence, January 1916. Issued from the mess of the Musketry Camp at Ponteland. From a collection of miscellaneous papers relating to Douglas McKie’s military service, including mess bills and official forms, 1916-1917. Douglas McKie served with Artists' Rifles and Northumberland Fusiliers and was killed at the Battle of Arras, 1917. Associated with World War One, Home Front (1914-1918).
