Description
Manuscript letter, Ludlow 4 Dec 1662. To Sir Edward Hopton from the Council in the Marches of Wales. Requests Sir Edward to give his judgement in a dispute, the details being enclosed with the letter. From a collection of photographs of 27 documents in Hereford City Library relating to Sir Richard Hopton and his son Sir Edward, knighted in 1604 and 1645 respectively. Associated with the English Civil War (1642-1649).
