Air mail letter card sent by William Bryceland to his mother Mrs J Bryceland, 31 Oct 1942.
The letter sends greetings to his family and speaks of how he hopes to be able to come home and see them soon and is sorry to be missing New Years with them, that it is now winter where Bryceland is and so quiet that the prospect of a mobile cinema van raises great excitement, and that he is now based on guns rather than motors.
From a collection of papers associated with Gunnery Sgt William (’Bill’) Bryceland.
