Royal Westminster (Light Infantry) Middlesex Militia  button, 1853-1881
Pewter, 2-piece, rim. A shield divided down the centre by a line topped by a crown, the left-hand side of the shield a portcullis on the right three seaxes (short notched swords), a bugle horn runs around the shield finishing near the top edge of the shield.  Reverse marked with a two-edged dotted circle inscribed SHERLOCK & CO • LONDON •.
